Best Ever Chocolate Shake

So great on a hot summer day, like today! It is so warm here in Southern California, I needed something easy, cool and healthy after my time at the gym. This was perfect...it's dairy free, refined sugar free and super good for your mind, body and soul...

Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon or so of cinnamon, optional

Directions

Place everything in blender, blend to desired consistency and enjoy.... Makes one serving.

My ingredients

Tip...always freeze your older bananas instead of throwing them away so you will have them on hand for smoothies or raw banana ice creams like my Almond Chunky Monkey Ice Cream or Chocolate Banana Ice Cream...they are sweet and super healthy at this stage.

Cheers to good health!

I know some people don't like to eat bananas in the state below, like my son, he prefers them to be a little stiff when eating raw. He won't eat it if it has any brown spots. But they are great for smoothies and ice creams...they are fairly cheap at .19 cents a banana at Trader Joe's and fresh & easy, stock up and freeze some for later...

This is what bananas should look like when they're ready to eat.

According to Japanese Scientific Research, full ripe banana with dark patches on yellow skin produce a substance called TNF (Tumor Necsrosis Factor) which has the ability to combat abnormal cells. The more darker patches it has the higher will be its immunity enhancement quality; Hence, the riper the banana the better the anti-cancer quality.

Yellow skin banana with dark spots on it is 8x more effective in enhancing the property of white blood cells than green skin version.

Eating 1 -2 bananas a day increases immunity.

Be well and thrive!
